Some people buy it to sweeten their tea, to soothe sore throats or to give away because honey makes a great gift. Many people use it to keep their allergies at bay. Me? I just like it.
FUN FACT: Did you know that every batch of honey has a flavor that is unique to the flowers that the bees collected from. Early honey is generally lighter in color than late summer/fall honey.
Honey does not go bad, it simply crystallizes. If that happens, do not put it in the microwave. Bring a pot of water to a boil and remove it from the heat. Set your jar of honey in the water and let it set overnight. It will be back to a liquid state in time for your morning cup of tea.
|This is not just any honey! These bees have the best recipe. The collect from wildflowers growing at the forest edge, a wildflower meadow and the sweet flowers of a raspberry patch. Deliciously delectable.|
